1. Where are you located?

Evaluation and therapy services are provided in Maplewood, NJ. Arrangements can sometimes be made for evaluation and treatment in your home as well, on a case by case basis. Screenings may be conducted  onsite with permission of area preschools.

2. Do you accept insurance?

The Jersey Speech Lab currently accepts Cigna, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem, and Medicare. If we are not in network with your carrier, we provide receipts and documentation for you to submit for reimbursement from your insurance company. You may be able to use out-of-network benefits.

3. What are your rates?

Rates are discussed upon request. We offer the option of paying by session, or at a discount for committing to a treatment package. If Amy Cooper, SLP, is an in-network provider with your insurance, you may be subject to a deductible, or simply be responsible for a copay. The Jersey Speech Lab will help obtain prior authorization for services.

4. What is the cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your session. We understand that emergencies happen. For this reason, there is no charge for the first late cancellation. Subsequent cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a $75 fee that is not reimbursable by insurance.

5. With what ages do you work?

We treat a wide variety of concerns in both children and adults of all ages.

5. Do you offer voice training in addition to therapy?

Yes. We offer voice enhancement services, including singing training, presentation skills, and accent reduction. These services are generally not covered by insurance.

6. Do you offer LSVT-LOUD (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment)?

Yes. We are certified and ready to help.
