I received my bachelors degree in Theater from Northwestern University, with a specialization in Musical Theater, and earned my masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from Teachers College, Columbia University. Prior appointments have included serving as the Assistant Director of the Voice and Swallowing Institute at Columbia University Medical Center, Director of Speech Pathology at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, and Voice Specialist at Long Island Jewish Medical Center (Northwell). I was honored to work side by side with laryngologist, Dr. Michael Pitman, for over 12 years. I have also lectured both nationally and internationally, have been published in peer-reviewed journals, and have contributed to multiple textbooks. I am a member of The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), The Voice Foundation, and am an LSVT-LOUD certified clinician. I worked at The Eugen Grabscheid Voice and Swallowing Center of Mount Sinai Hospital with laryngologist, Dr. Mark Courey, as well as with Dr. Lowell Gurey at Summit Health. I also study voice, going on many years, with my guru, Joan Lader. Most recently, I was a guest on Doctor Radio on Sirius XM, talking about treatment of voice disorders in elite voices.
Most importantly, I’m a mom to two little boys, and I'm proud to call Maplewood, NJ, home.
